On Sunday 14 August, the Archdeacon of Cornwall, the Venerable Paul Bryer, presided at our Sung Eucharist and offered prayers for the life of The Blessed Virgin Mary, whose feast day is 15 August.

Following the service he joined with others in wishing Kathryn Hodge a very happy birthday.

Readings: Isaiah 61:10-end, Galations 4:4-7 and the Gospel of St Luke 1:46-55

Guide your Church to follow the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary in patience, humility and trust… As we honour her for the sake of her beloved Son, grant that we may known and make known the gentle love that he knew in his human family.
